DUBAI – Dubai's real estate market generated Dh15.6bn ($4.2bn) in transactions during the past week, according to the Dubai Land Department.

Sales activity accounted for the largest share of the total.

The latest figures highlight continued demand across the emirate's residential property market, with luxury homes commanding some of the highest prices.

Sales surge

Sales transactions reached Dh8.73bn ($2.4bn), with 2,734 deals recorded between July 6 and 10. Among the standout transactions was an apartment at Orla Infinity by Omniyat in Palm Jumeirah, which changed hands for Dh75.75m ($20.6m).

Luxury deals

Another apartment at Six Senses Residence The Palm in Palm Jumeirah sold for Dh40m ($10.9m), while an apartment in Seapoint Tower 1 at Dubai Harbour fetched Dh29.1m ($8m). During the same period, mortgage transactions totalled Dh5.71bn ($1.5bn), while gift transfers were valued at Dh1.16bn ($316m), according to Dubai Land Department statistics.
